Fandoms You’re No Longer On | T5W

Hello bookworms! I’m Nia and today I’m going to be talking about some fandoms I’m no longer on!

Now I have to say I’ve never consider myself a crazy fangirl. I usually liked things but it wasn’t until a very recent time in my life that I discover fandoms and how cool they are. Sometimes. Yes, I know it’s crazy but it’s true. I adored and fangirl about some things but never really knew fandoms were a thing.

So I tried my best to come across with 5. Sone of them are book related, but others not so much.

What fandoms are you currently on and which ones you don’t belong anymore?

These are in no particular order. Without any further ado, let’s start with my top 5.

Twilight

I remember there was a BOOM and literally everyone couldn’t stop talking about this books. In my case these books were what first got me into reading. I devoured them (I read the first three books in like three days). I was craazy for these books. I read fan fiction, pre bought movie tickets before the actual release. Yes, I was that fangirl. But now if I picked them up I’d probably wouldn’t enjoyed them as much as I did when I was younger. So now, even though I have no intentions on re-reading them, they have a special place in my heart because of those good memories.

H2O: Just Add Water

I was quite young when I was watching this TV show but I loved it! I even pretend to be a mermaid when I was swimming in the pool 😂. And I still have the first two seasons on DVD. I also would fangirl with my friends about the show and I STILL REMEMBER WE ALL HATED CHARLOTTE. Such good memories, ah!

W.I.T.C.H.

Before I starting reading books graphic novels were all I read. I particulary adored this series. It was a looong one, but the characters and the world were so cool I couldn’t help but got obsess. My school friends were also in love with these comics so that was all we talked about in school breaks.

Pokémon

This guys, was my entire childhood. I was obsessed with Pokemon and Digimon. I watched the TV show, bought the CDs and merchandaising (usually there were games) and also I had a GameBoy and I got the games that were already out and played for hours. Now I think I’ve lost interest, I think. There was an app and I believe you can still download it if you want (Pokemon Go) that literally everyone had on their phones but I was too lazy and didn’t haha. So let’s say I’m not in that “fandom” anymore.

The Hunger Games 

Again, same thing as the others. I didn’t know anything about these books until my mom bought me the first one, and I was instantly in love. I marathon the three of them and I loved the first two (let’s not talk about Mockingjay, okay?). I got head over heals with those characters and the dystopian genre, and I even did makeups inspires in the series and fangirl with my best friend. But right now I’m not as crazy and yes, I would re-watch the movies but I’m not into it as much as I was before.
