My Blogging Schedule

Hello bookworms! I’m Nia and today I’m going to be talking about my blogging schedule.

I’ve been thinking about doing a post like this ever since I created this blog, because I really love when people write things like this. They help me a lot and basically, they make me want to be as organized *laughs*. So at this point in my blogging career I can say I’m prepared to do one. I feel like now that I schedule my posts I have a routine, and that I publish certain posts the same days of the week, even though I’m not super harsh about them yet.

This, of course, could change in the future, but I’ll let you know if it does. For now, this is my blogging schedule!

As I said in my introduction, I’m not super harsh about posting my content in specific days, but you’ll see what I mean in a second.

Mondays and Fridays are reserved from everything related to recommendations, discussions, tags, etc. And even though I don’t have a specific day to post each one, it is true that usually recommendations are posted on Fridays whereas tags are reserved for Mondays.

I still haven’t written any discussions on this blog, but that’s something I’m planning to change. I want to start writing them, so they’ll most likely be posted any of these two days (probably on Fridays but I’m not sure yet about that!).

Also at the beginning of the month I like to post my most anticipated reads of that month, wrap ups, TBRs and book hauls, in that order. They don’t have a particular day for each one, but they are one day apart from the other. But what you’ll most likely see at the beginning of the month is my most anticipated reads post, and then the others following the order I mentioned earlier.

Wednesdays are reserved for Top 5 Wednesday. I don’t care if it’s the beginning or the end of the month, if it’s wednesday you’ll be seeing this post. I’ve been doing them ever since I joined the blogging community, and they are so popular in my blog. I also have so much fun doing them, so these are going to be a constant thing on the blog (sorry if you don’t like them).

These two days are reseved for reviews. If you’ve been here for a while you’ll notice I read many books per month, and I really want to be active with my reviews. I feel so productive after I write one, and I’m one of those people who love talking about what I love and dislike in a book. My reviews have three quotes (usually they are ones that I really liked while reading that particular book, or simply found interesting) as well as a picture of said book. I want to add another picture at the end of the review but I’m still not sure, so definitely let me know if you’d like to see that!

But these days I’m stick to what I’ve read before. If I’ve done all reviews I needed, then probably I’m not going to be posting any review. I can’t do anything about it!

Also I want to start doing the Top 10 Tuesday, but I’m still thinking about it and I’m not positive yet. I wanted to let you know just in case I decide to join the train.

Weekends are the most random to this blog! If it’s the beginning of the month (and depending on the day it is!), you’ll probaly be seeing one of the Monday & Fridays posts. Just one. And I’m talking about the first weekend of the month. No more.

The others are reserved for reviews (I don’t necessarily post reviews each Saturday and Sunday of the month). I mean, as I previously said, it all depends on how many books I’ve already read and want to write a review for. Sometimes I like to take a break, guys. So if you don’t see any posts, don’t worry, they’ll come.

Do you have an schedule to follow or just publish things at random? Also let me know if you’d like to see any particular thing in the blog (like tags, certain recommendations, etc. because I find them incredibly helpful!)

  1. I’m definitely a schedule person, it drives me nuts when my posts are scattered and unorganized. And the weekends are my off days, I like to chill and forget about my blogging life, especially on Sunday.

  2. Thanks for this – it is really useful! I’m still quite new to blogging – started it on a whim, let it moulder for a few months and it’s only really now that I’m starting to learn how things work and put together a schedule…still a long way to go though!

    1. Oh, it’s no problem! I loved reading about this things when I started blogging (a few months ago, actually!) because it helped me quite much! Scheduling your posts is really helpful and once you start doing it you’ll find it easier and easier to think about everything! 😊

  3. I post about three to four times a week. I try to post, at least, one review every week! It keeps me accountable to my reading. I love doing discussion posts but they can be a bit difficult to come up with sometimes hahaha
