Most Anticipated September Releases | 2019

Hello bookworms! I’m Nia and today I’m going to be talking about some new releases that are coming out this month that I’m so excited to have on my hands.

September is usually a month full of new releases, and this year is no different. There are a lot of books coming out this month, and even though I’ve already read some of the ones that made it to this list, I still wanted to talk about them because I really enjoyed them and want other people to read them, too. Of course, there are others that I haven’t read and I’m beyond excited to pick up as soon as possible.

Like always, I’ll be leaving synopsis of each book I’ll be mentioning so you can have a fair idea of what they are about in case you’re interested.

Without any further ado, let’s start with my most anticipated September releases’ list!

Some legends never die…

Traveling with her treasure-hunting father has always been a dream for Theodora. She’s read every book in his library, has an impressive knowledge of the world’s most sought-after relics, and has all the ambition in the world. What she doesn’t have is her father’s permission. That honor goes to her father’s nineteen-year-old protégé—and once-upon-a-time love of Theodora’s life—Huck Gallagher, while Theodora is left to sit alone in her hotel in Istanbul.

Until Huck arrives from an expedition without her father and enlists Theodora’s help in rescuing him. Armed with her father’s travel journal, the reluctant duo learns that her father had been digging up information on a legendary and magical ring that once belonged to Vlad the Impaler—more widely known as Dracula—and that it just might be the key to finding him.

Journeying into Romania, Theodora and Huck embark on a captivating adventure through Gothic villages and dark castles in the misty Carpathian Mountains to recover the notorious ring. But they aren’t the only ones who are searching for it. A secretive and dangerous occult society with a powerful link to Vlad the Impaler himself is hunting for it, too. And they will go to any lengths—including murder—to possess it.

For the first time in generations, the leaders of the Svell are divided. Should they maintain peace or go to war with the allied clans to protect their newfound power? American Royals | Katharine McGee

Pub. Date: September 3rd

Two princesses vying for the ultimate crown.
Two girls vying for the prince’s heart.
This is the story of the American royals.

When America won the Revolutionary War, its people offered General George Washington a crown. Two and a half centuries later, the House of Washington still sits on the throne. Like most royal families, the Washingtons have an heir and a spare. A future monarch and a backup battery. Each child knows exactly what is expected of them. But these aren’t just any royals. They’re American. And their country was born of rebellion.

As Princess Beatrice gets closer to becoming America’s first queen regnant, the duty she has embraced her entire life suddenly feels stifling. Nobody cares about the spare except when she’s breaking the rules, so Princess Samantha doesn’t care much about anything, either . . . except the one boy who is distinctly off-limits to her. And then there’s Samantha’s twin, Prince Jefferson. If he’d been born a generation earlier, he would have stood first in line for the throne, but the new laws of succession make him third. Most of America adores their devastatingly handsome prince . . . but two very different girls are vying to capture his heart.

The duty. The intrigue. The Crown.

  1. There are definitely a lot of incredible September releases. I have quite a few of these, or their previous books, on my TBR already. I’m also desperate to read The Deathless Girls which I only recently learnt about. I hope you enjoy all of the ones that you haven’t got to yet.

      1. I hadn’t either until recently but it definitely sounds like a great Halloween read to me. It’s the untold story of Dracula’s brides and I’m really hoping it’s good as I can’t wait to read it.
